Alabama continues a Professional Educator Certificate through any one of six options, from 50 clock hours plus experience to 100 clock hours alone or National Board certification. The application window is January 1 to June 30 of the expiration year.
What Arizona educators need to renew a certificate: 15 clock hours of professional development for each year of the certificate term, so 180 hours across a 12-year certificate. Conferences and workshops cap at 30 hours a year.

South Carolina renews a Professional certificate on 120 renewal credits across five years. Which options you may use depends on whether you are employed by a district: everyone gets three, employed educators get eleven.
